I would highly doubt it. Since 9/11 pretty much everything about the plane is off limits. It was probably just because they were a TV crew that they got the access.

There are a lot of tours which are available a lot has to do with your budget because even the least costly is going to be expensive.

If you can afford it, I suggest getting a personal driver who can take you on a different trip each day something like this

Otherwise there are coach tours where your whole two weeks are organised for you with free time in some places but check on the meals and drinks provided with these. Buying your own food and drink each day can easily add up to another thousand pounds on to the cost of the trip.

London has a lot to do and see so much to choose from and there are loads of sites for you to choose your own itinerary from if you get a central hotel the following site is intended to attract tourists

The following site will give you some more ideas about the area which you may like to add in

I suggest a week in London and take in a west end show and see this site, check out what specialist exhibitions which only last a short time during your stay

If you arrive in Summer there are a lot of stately homes open too many to see them all.

I would try to take a few days touring an area of England rather than a whistle stop tour trying to take in too much.

York is a place I have been to time and time again and each time find something new

I would also go to Scotland and stay in Edinburgh

A lot of people have a yearning to visit Stone Henge but to be honest, it is a long way from most everything else takes up a lot of time visiting and is just a few stones in my mind so I would not add it to my list.

Windsor Castle however is lovely and so is the area around.

Go on river trips rather than coach or bus trips in any city is my tip too.

If, where ever you are you see a bakery with a queue (usually at around mid-day), join it and buy some pies or cakes to try. The English will queue for a long time to get the best food rather than go into an empty shop for fast service.

Hope you enjoy your stay and I am sure you will 00

In paris a must see is the Musee D'Orsay, it is a simply amazing impresionist museum which is inexpensive and well worth you while. Another place to see in paris, which doesnt have as many tourists which makes it a prime place to see some really awesome culture is at Montmartre. There you can have your pictures drawn or see some street performances, simply amazing :D

It strongly depends on the airline that you are flying and what airport security measures are. I would suggest boarding the plane as soon as possible because that is when the door to the flight deck will be open. You will not be able to visit the flight deck during the flight! If the door is closed i would suggest asking a flight attendant. You may have to ask a few times before you are successful.

I spend 16 days on a Trafalgar tour though they do have 9 day tours. They are awesome a lot is included (admission prices, meals, hotels etc)
I saw London, oxford, stratford upon avon, coventry, york, grenta green, edinburgh, durham, chester, dublin, waterford, blarney castle, bunratty castle, the lakes district, cardiff and its castle, stonehenge, bath, salisbury and a lot more that I cant remember. All told it was about 4 grand.
If you don't want to do a tour check out their website and copy down their itinerary rent a car and there ya go.

My recommendations are:

London Dungeon
Madame Tussauds
Campden Lock Market
London Eye Flight
Trocadero, Piccadilly (bowling etc especially for rainy days)
Natural History Science Museums (next door to each other)

They might also enjoy the London Ducktours - an alternative tour of London using refurbished WW2 amphibious vehicles!

Covent Garden is also great fun to visit because there are loads of buskers to see and there is a fun restaurant there called Belgo Centraal.

Enjoy your trip :)

Here are MY picks

-London Eye flight
It takes 30 minutes to go full circle and provides spectacular views of London. It's extremely popular so it's best to book tickets online. (I'll give the link at the bottom of my answer).

-Hyde Park
It's one of the eight Royal Parks in London, and houses the Italian Gardens, Peter Pan statue, Diana Memorial Fountain, eateries, and green spaces. And a river with ducks. You can horseback ride or take a paddleboat on the river.

-Regents Park
Another excellent park, it's home to rose gardens, sports, eateries, London Zoo, wildlife garden, and outdoor concerts.

-London Dungeon
-This show and thrill rides attraction takes you back to the darkest moments in London history. It's best to book online for this. (Link is provided).

-Madame Tussauds
Wax figurines of the famous and infamous. Book online. (Link provided).

-Ripley's Believe it or Not
You should know what this is.

-Changing of the Guard
It's pretty neat watching this in front of Buckingham Palace. Free.

-Harrod's
The world famous department store. Check it out. There are some interesting food.

-Piccadilly Circus
London's version of Times Square

-West End
London's theater district.

-Trafalgar Square
This square is a tourist attraction, with the National Gallery and fountains. And statues.

-Camden Market
Shopping

-Oxford Street
-The busiest shopping district in Europe, with good clothing stores, a few souvenier shops, and eateries.

Hm. That's about it. Of course there's a LOT more but when I was in London I didn't have time to see everything (or close to a lot of things).

Here's the link for booking the specified attractions online, and then some:
