bunga asked: I’m planning to go on a cruise to mexico and was wondering if I need a visa? My country of citizen is NOT one of those who generally do not need a visa to Mexico but I am holding a US greencard (permanent residence). I called the rep @ cruise; she told me to call mexico embassy which I did and nobody returned my call. Anybody knows if passport and greencard would be sufficient for my travel?

t.ogrady12 asked: I am only 16, so it will be some years yet, but I want to have a gap year after sixth form (from the ages of 18-19) where I work for sixth months and travel for sixth months. The continents I want to go to are Asia, Africa and South America, as the title says. I have a brief idea of the countries I want to visit, but does anyone have any recommendations?
I may feel like going to Australasia as well, if I have enough time, but the three continents above are my first choice. I will travel throughout my life, so there will be time for other countries and things.
The main things I am interested in are culture and ancient history, so I don’t want to go to places like the USA.
The countries I have in mind at the moment are China/Japan, India, Russia, South Africa, Egypt, somewhere in the Sahara, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. I would also like to follow the Inca Trail and other such things.
So yeah, any reccomendations? Thanks.

Skippy asked: I’m looking for a job on a cruise ship, hopefully paid in £ as I currently live in the UK. I’ve looked on loads of websites and a lot of them seem to come back to International Cruise Services who charge about £30. Does anyone know any place that recruits to the cruise industry for free? Has anyone used International Cruise Services and have any tips or advice?

beautiful sadness asked: Constructive answers please, based on: scenery, lack of pollution, friendliness of people, food etc.
I have travelled extensively in Europe and know south asia a bit, but want to try somewhere different, maybe off the usual tourist trails.
Your contributions are appreciated.
Thank you

Chris_A asked: Hello,
Me and a friend are going travelling later this year and we’re trying to work out what the best calling cards are to make phonecalls back to friends and family in the UK?
We’re going to be visiting north, central and south america, japan, china, south east asia, india and finland. So I’m trying to work out whether there are any good combined calling cards or whether we’re going to have to buy separates for each region/country.
Thanks,
Chris_A

Pea asked: Before i go to uni I want to travel for 5-6 months and I’m completely clueless on where to start as i want to see the whole world (impossible, i know). But i’m not looking for the cliched gap year places like Thailand and India, not that i wouldn’t love to go there, but I want to find places that are not filled with tourists. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas please let me know!
Also—- I’m from UK so preferably out of Europe
