swoody17 asked: My wife has now been refused a visa to visit England from Canada…we have enough funds to support ourselves ( Im from England and have a house over here) and everything is legal! But twice she has been refused entry because they dont believe that she will leave the country after three months…and yet there are a lot of people who come to England with no passports and no identification and they get treated with all the care the government has to offer! This isnt fair..why does this happen? As a result of this I am moving away from England for good as I really protest against the system that operates here!…sorry to go on but I am so full of anger right now!

mestressedout asked: UK Immigration did not stamp a 6 month visitors visa in my passport when I arrived from America 3 weeks ago as I passed through Dublin on the last leg of the flight and they don’t stamp Visas on flights from Ireland.
I spoke with them this week and they said that they can’t do it now, the only way is to fly to another country, (not ireland) and when I fly back in they will stamp it then.
Immigration may suspect that I need the Visa stamped in so that I can get an interview and change my status to something more long term or permanent and are bound to ask me, so
What is a good enough reason for me to do a return trip on the same day to another country should the immigration query this?
Would it be better to go out one day and come back the next day to avoid the suspicion of the immigration.
What is a legitimate reason Why a foreigner (american) would spend 200 pounds to take these steps to ensure their Passport has a 6 month Visa? is this reasonable?
