kendra26uk asked: It’s funnel shaped, so it has a very tall slim trunk and then opens up at the top and slightly dips in like a bowl. Grey looking so it must be concrete
It’s not the control tower at the aiport as i could see it some 3 miles away from the runway. I also saw it a few times when we were driving around the outskirts of the city
Anyone know what it is?? Thanks!
well yeah obviously I thought about that!.
But If you type in concrete tower then you get a ton of results and none of which is the one I am on about!. There are a lot of towers in ireland!
Just thought someone might actually know rather than stating something I have already done! Thanks !
*Sal*UK* – Thanks! Ill try that! :0)

Francis Hannaway asked: A friend of a friend went to Dublin (Ireland) and went into several pubs. He bought two pints of Guinness and was charged €20 – twenty Euros.
Wherever he went in Dublin he said it was pretty similar. Did they see him coming? I know Guinness can be a bit more expensive than ordinary bitter or lager – but this seems a bit excessive.
Is it because he was right in the centre of town? Is it because it was late in the evening? . . .or is it because tourists get ripped off?
If you are from Dublin, or you visit frequently, can you comment, please?
How much have you paid recently for different beer type drinks?
Guaranteed Irish your answer depends on a website that was last updated in 2006!
Hey! Thanks everyone for all the great answers. I would consider a trip to Dublin now after getting the idea from your answers that a pint is between 4.50 and 6 euros.
