Sleeping Underwater?

There are some truly amazing hotels out there and of course ones that are on the way, but what are the best of the best? Some people would prefer to stay in holiday cottages there is no doubt about that but if you could afford it you would most certainly stay in one of these locations.

Jules Undersea Lodge

Florida is already quite a unique place to go with all of the theme parks that are there. The undersea lodge is a hotel in Key Largo, Florida and is the only hotel of its kind in the United States. Its 30ft under water and the only way you can get into the place is by scuba diving in, all of the rooms feature air conditioning, power and plenty to do. If you have that all important scuba license you can venture out into the waters whenever you want and air and you can use as much air as you want.

Poseidon Resorts

This is of course another underwater resort but this time its a bit more different! It will cost up to around $30,000 to stay for a week in once of these places, however they are five star hotels and do feature some pretty amazing things. All of the rooms are going to contain a 270 degree view of the ocean which is really amazing stuff. An underwater restaurant and bar will also be in place and the only way into the resort will be through an elevator. There is also going to be a very private bungalow in which to get into you will have to get there in a submarine. This is certainly a place I would love to go! IS this really going to happen.

Of course for a lot of people this wouldn’t be something they would be interested in and staying at that lovely cottage in Sussex with the smell of topsoil and mushroom compost. There is nothing wrong with this at all, a nice relaxing stay in the cottage could do anyone some good.
