What place in England is the best to keep distance from drunks?

I´m really searching a good city to live, but I just find references about drinking problems….On my last visit, I´ve been really disappointed with teenagers all around, drinking like crazy….

    Try France, it’s the closest.

    perhaps living outside a city would be better suited to you.
    a really nice place is brighton, it got plenty to see and do, and is right by the sea. I didnt feel at threat in brighton at all :)

    Why would you move to England and think you can escape from drunkards when you know that’s a way of life for the country. It’s like going to Brazil and not wanting to see pretty girls in bikini’s.

    And in response to the one about moving outside a city, the locals can be just as rowdy as the teenagers.
