Is there any way university/gap year students can get free NHS healthcare?

I’m a gap year student and hope to go to university next year but i’m avoiding the dentist and opticians because i don’t want to have to pay an arm and a leg for a regular check-up. Is there a scheme to help me pay health costs?

    Earn you earn below a certain amount then you can fill in a form to entitle you to free heathcare, I think ‘HC2′ so you’re probably eligable for that.
