You won’t need a car today, as you take to the streets and explore the stunning and atmospheric Old Town of Palma on foot. It is a small but perfectly formed Old Town, not one that sprawls on for miles and there are some wonderful old squares and parks to grab back your breath!
You CAN get lost – with a lot of difficulty – for it is virtually impossible to lose your landmark the magnificent Cathedral wherever your hotel in Palma Old Town is. Look out for the side streets and narrow corridors for when you find one, you have to follow it to see where it leads. Often there is a reward to be had at the end like a glorious square or a market.
You will be glad you took to exploring the Old Town on foot as one or two surprises will have revealed themselves to you! Additionally, if you were hoping for some traditional craftwork to take home as souvenirs, this is where to find them!
