Sorry can’t help with the cost, but it must be less than to hire one from home before you go, as you will have to rent for the duration of the cruise….you can buy them cheap of e-bay and such like, and some stores to offers so check them out…but do get one, you really wont regret it….nothing better than a formal night onboard…have a great time…..
it is $100 to rent the Tux for the evening.
I believe it is $100 or less (unless it went up drastically since my last cruise.) However, I know on Carnival ships you keep them the entire cruise, not just formal night. This is great if there are 2 formal nights, or you want really nice pictures done. Some people feel that if they are going to pay to rent them, they will wear it the entire week. (For dinners, on mean. One would look kind of silly on the beach in a tux! lol). Try checking Cruisecritic.com, and go to the Royal Carribbean board for more info.
why rent when you can buy? once hes dressed up in one,and seen everyone else he will want to for the other formal nights.i take it you’re in America? if so do they have a matalan store near you,if so i bought a lovely tux with free dinner shirt and bow tie for £50.00 cant beat that for value. enjoy your cruise.
