Are there any secret parking places or places that dont cost too much in the centre. I dont mind if i have to park offsite and walk 5-10 mins to town centre. Also are there any free/cheap attractions as my sister in law is visiting from Canada on 15th January and i have promised to take her on a day out in Edinburgh on Sat 26th January. I dont have very much money but i managed to book the Edinburgh Dungeons online for only £21 for all 3 of us. Anyone know of anything we can do during the day that doesnt cost much or is free. I would also be looking at going out to eat. Would it be alot cheaper to have a lunch or late lunch rather than paying for dinner? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Go onto the internet and have a look for places to go in edinburgh, there are many sites… also there is a tourist place on waverely market which you will find places to go and eat etc…
Parking – you’ll be lucky to find anywhere for free! well ocean terminal is free, but it’s a bit far from the centre…
