I have travelled extensively in Europe and know south asia a bit, but want to try somewhere different, maybe off the usual tourist trails.
Your contributions are appreciated.
Thank you

Finland is geographically a bit flat but the south is very nice and the people (once you get used to the delivery of the language … non-intonated so it sounds a bit humpty
) are great. You can also take the ferry over to Estonia for a day trip.
If you are into dramatic scenery go to the Scottish Highlands them loop around and tour Edinburgh.
The most ‘wow’ place I have ever visited was the North Pole although I appreciate it is not on most folks radar!
Enjoy
Finland!! because i like snow, friendly people, Santa Claus himself!!,northern lights, very beatiful lanscapes and forests.
end not very much people (there are more Raindeers then people)
New Zealand is my fave destination.
It is beautiful, uncrowded, and it it has just about every type of landscape possible. The people are hospitable, the weather is great. There is so much to do and see. The Maori culture is fascinating.
You must go there!
I would say Canada, the people were very nice to me when I asked them for direction and stuff. The scenery was awesome, due to low pollution from traffic and other (at least the place that I went to was like this) The food wasn’t anything surprising and I had expected that, just a surprise that you can find food that you won’t normally eat in other countries, like deer.
GO TO CYPRUS BEAUTIFUL PLACE .PEOPLE AND ITS NOT FAR TO TRAVEL TO GET OF THE TOURIST ROUTS AND GO TO THE TURKISH SIDE(NORTH ).ITALY IS GREAT AS WELL PLENTY TO SEE ,FOOD IS GREAT AND CHEAP.GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A GREAT TIME
Singapore. It is very safe, clean and has little pollution. Strict laws and everyone knows it.
There is also lots to do there. Great tourist sites and great shopping. Nice people too!
Amsterdam…Valencia Spain…friendly people …great food beautiful countryside
Dominica in the Caribbean. Not the Dominican Republic, but Dominica pronounced Dah-ma-nee-ka, it is situated between Guadalupe and Martinique. It is one of the few Caribbean islands that is not completely dependent on tourism. If you go you will find tropical forest with beautiful hikes past rivers and waterfalls. A fresh water lake, a boiling lake, a place called the valley of desolation. There is great diving and snorkelling. Its is reasonably priced and the people there are very nice as well. If someone wants to be pampered then don’t come here. This is a place to explore and be active and see beautiful sights. Its my favorite.
Canada. The maritime provinces, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The scenery is awesome. Check out the bay of Fundy. The tide comes in all at once like a flash flood. The people are a lot like Americans except they are much friendlier to strangers.
I’ve never been to the French speaking part of the country but if you speak the language It’s probably just as nice. I went in the middle of summer and was surprised at the lack of tourists. I live in Maine and we have more than we need of tourists.
The only thing I didn’t like was the permafrost in the northern part of the country. It thaws in the summer but never dries out. If you try to drive on grass you’ll get stuck and get mud all over your car and yourself.
The terrorists leave Canada alone. But the last time I was there I thought I saw Osama Bin Laden hitchiking with his turban on. That guy would have a hard time if he visited the USA. Hey?
Finland!!! that is my favorite place in the world, people is very friendly, Helsinki is one of the cleanest cities in the world. And… well Finland is the paradise because i think there are the most beautiful handsome men i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!
Greece was utterly amazing! The people were wonderful, the places beautiful.
I only had one day there, but Costa Rica looked really interesting and I’d like to go back. Our taxi driver (who took us around for 4 hours) was very cool!
