Would you suggest London as a good place to study abroad in England?

Skins_fan asked:

I’ve been wanting to visit London for sometime so I’d try to at least visit sometime in my life no matter what. But I thought a good way to take advantage of that would be to study abroad (as a broke student that I am) and be able to visit maybe local towns, take a train ride to Paris (at least once) but IYO would you suggest another English or British city to study in?

London’s a great place – just watch your wallet, as prices for pretty much everything can get a bit steep.

But if you’re coming to Britain, I would certainly say that London is ‘the place to be’. Have fun while you’re up there :-)

Yes. London has an amazing mix of cultures and things to see and do. Be prepared for it to be costly though, for most countries the exchange rate works in favour of people visiting Britain rather than the other way around. However don’t let that put you off.
Yes, you can get a train to Paris from London which i think takes only a few hours. You can also get cheap flights to other European city’s from any of the city’s airports.
Make sure you get to see Scotland and other parts of the UK too. They all are very different.
