sounds like a great plan. go to the weather website and look at the records of the weather during those months and they will tell you the average weather it usually is.

It will be very cold, so don’t go to the mediterranean areas, the sea resorts etc. Switzerland, the German alps, would be lovely and you can have a cosy holiday. Also, Paris is very romantic and beautiful in November.

    Have a great honeymoon

Personally, I think that it’s never too cold to have a wonderful time and see the beauty that Europe has to offer; however, it really all depends on the location as well as the activities that you would like or are planning to do. You can easily do it, and, considering that it is during the off-season for tourism, you should be able to get some really great deals at discount prices.

Oh, I love Europe in the winter! Buy a nice down coat and bundle up and it can be lovely.

My favorite places for winter holiday are Czech Republic, especially Prague, and Germany and/or Austria. They have fabulous Christmas markets through most of December and it is wonderful to wander the stalls, surrounded by all the decorations, and sip warm spiced wine! I spent 8 days in CR for Christmas 2005 and I LOVED it, I would spend every Christmas there if I could!

If you are skiers, head to a ski resort! A lot of resorts also have spas with saunas, steamrooms, massage services, etc, which can be a lovely way to relax after a wedding.

In short, if you want a tropical vacation you should go elsewhere or get married in a different month! :) But if you just want a lovely vacation, embrace the winter by bringing appropriate clothing and you can have a splendid time.

In my opinion? Yes. Too bloody cold. The warmest would be the southern european countries, but you’ll still need to pack warm clothing.

Most regions will be rather low in temperature, but there are still some with a mild climate in the south:
Andalucia (southern Spain) with great cities like Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda
Portugal: Lisbon and Porto are really worth a visit
    Malta
    Sicily
    Crete (Greek Island)

If you want to figure out what temperatures to expect, look at the following sites:
