depends how you travel.
A fortune! :O
Depends on which way you travel, how long you plan to stay in each country etc. Some travel agents can give you a ticket at a set price for so many stop offs in a certain time scale. Just tour round the travel agents for best price really and don’t forget to get insurance too.
Happy travels.
Obviously, that depends on where you want to stay and how – in a tent, a luxury hotel, motorhome, you know, quite obvious things really.
around 10k I would recon, …a bit outta my league at mom
but, if a few of you travel, it cheaper..but more constricting !!
You can get round the world ticket for just over £1000, I believe. Obviously this doesn’t include accomdation. I think you should know it’s all one way, you can’t back up on yourself ie, London to Amsterdam to India, then back to London, that is not allowed. A few of my friends are doing it, lucky them! It really doesn’t cost that much depending on your budget, but as I said it doesn’t allow you to back up, you have to keep going round.
Good luck if your doing it!
I’d go with allowing 10 grand, at least, too.
It’s not so much the travel cost to get to these Countries, but by the time you add up accommodation, food, sight-seeing, local travel once you are there, it gets to be expensive.
Also depends where you go in each Country – e.g. in New Zealand, do you plan to do North and South Island? So more fares to get from one to the other. Which part? Queenstown is pricey but that and going down to the Sound is part of the tourist thing to do.
Are you hiring a car or doing public transport, e.g Greyhound bus in the USA? Takes longer and not as flexible, but cheaper. Which part of the States – it’s a VERY big Country and will take a lot of time if you want to do East and West Coasts (so more living and travel expenses). Asia is pretty big, too!
You could cut your costs by doing a working holiday – follow the harvest for example.
It will not cost much as it is the world.
