I did all the christmas things this year – next year I am declaring my house a christmas free zone – no cards, no crackers, no presents and certainly no mince pies!!
try a cabin in the mountains or a quiet, adult only resort. Or, you could move to a Jewish town.
How about the Carribean or Maillorca? Tropical climate, and should be pretty nice. I don’t know about children being there or whatever, but you should be able to find a resort that caters to adults.
Try somewhere in SE Asia if you want to avoid Christmas entirely. Thailand’s pretty awesome from what I understand, but really damned warm.

Don’t know if you would fancy this, but were off to Cuba next Christmas, a place called Cayo Coco, we were there in April this year, its paradise on earth, no kids as it was an adult only hotel, plenty of swimming in the beautiful ocean or the two pools, the bars were lovely and relaxed in the evenings and if you wanted the disco or salsa dancing then it was there for you, no one bothers you but if you want company then people welcome you into their groups, its totally relaxing and beautiful, though it is fairly hot there is a wonderful breeze down the beach so you can go chill out there and the nights are cool too with the air con, hope you get to your paradise for next Christmas, have a great new year.
